Farm-to-Table Textbook Author (John Wiley & Sons):
Textbook Author: Real-World Farm to Table
In 2013 Darryl won a contract with co-author Chef Lyndon Virkler to write a textbook for John Wiley & Sons publishers. The textbook is called Real-World Farm to Table, and will be full-color, with 320 pages and more than 100 photos and charts. The publication date is September 2015. The book is a contemporary, detailed overview of all aspects of the Farm to Table movement, including green restaurant practices, alternatives to industrial food production, Farm to School, crafting Farm to Table strategies, marketing Farm to Table, and building a sustainable future. The intended audiences are both students and industry professionals.
